NOTE: The current Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee is $300 per hour.

Fees & Payment Information
The Anna Centre is a private psychology practice. While Medicare rebates may be available with a Mental Health Care Plan, our sessions are not bulk-billed, and a gap fee is payable for all appointments.
Session fees range depending on the clinician you see and the type of service provided. Standard individual appointments are typically 50 to 60 minutes in duration. Relationship and couples counselling may be offered in extended formats.
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or psychiatrist, Medicare rebates may apply. Check table below for rebate reference.
Please note: Medicare rebates are not available for couples counselling.
Payment is required at the time of your session, via credit card, EFTPOS, or direct debit. If you’re attending in person, our clinic has EFTPOS facilities. For Telehealth sessions, payment must be made prior to the appointment.

At The Anna Centre, we offer mental health services to individuals through various referral pathways. The most common is the Australian Government’s Mental Health Care Initiative, where you can access therapy with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP. This plan also allows you to claim a Medicare rebate, but please note a gap fee will apply, which depends on your referral and session count.
We also accept referrals from:
- Private referrals
- Relationship Counselling
- Department of Veteran's Affairs (DVA)
- NDISÂ (both self-managed and third party managed)
- Transport Accident Commission (TAC)
- Worksafe/Workcover
- Employment Assistance Programs (EAP)
