Patients can be referred to 'The Anna Centre' under the following Medicare Schemes:
Patients can access up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year with re-referrals after session 6 and session 10.
Referral Pattern 6 sessions – 4 sessions – 10 sessions.
Patients can access up to 40 rebated psychology sessions in 12 months, with reviews from the GP/psychiatrist every 10 sessions.
Patients can access a rebate for up to 5 allied health services per calendar year.

NDIS At The Anna Centre
The complexities of the NDIS are many. Therefore, we wanted to share with you that NDIS participants, without a mental health plan (to see a psychologist), can access our counsellors through their NDIS plan.
In fact, because psychology is not often funded through NDIS, using the Counselling line item can mean quicker and more straight forward approvals (through NDIS) for you/your client. The Counselling line item in the NDIS price list is also lower than the Psychology line item and delivers more than ‘capacity building’, see below.
NDIS participants who have access to the necessary funding can seek counselling services to:
- Facilitate self-knowledge
- Emotional acceptance and growth
- Gain greater insight into their lives
- Help the participant work towards their personal goals
- Optimal development of personal resources
