About Us

The goals of The Anna Centre are to provide the highest quality psychology and counselling skills to individuals, couples, families and organisations.

The Anna Centre is currently located at 8 Rowan St, Bendigo.

Now with a satellite practice in Lancefield, The Anna Centre first opened as a one-psychologist private practice in the old double brick building opposite Coles in Myer Street, Bendigo in 1990.

From its inauspicious beginnings, The Anna Centre flourished under the careful guidance of Meddwyn Harland (now Coleman), the founding director and principal psychologist.

New premises were purchased in 1996. The Anna Centre then diversified and consolidated with the recruitment of specialised staff to assist our increased clientele.

By 2001, The Anna Centre had expanded and the building itself underwent a major renovation to cope with the expansion in business. In keeping with the Victorian architectural features that make The Anna Centre such a welcoming and friendly place, Meddwyn and her staff chose to renovate and decorate The Anna Centre in the same period style. We believe that this style, in addition to our own friendly and approachable staff, is part of what attracts our clients to The Anna Centre and forms the foundation of the practice you see here today.
